Hotel Art By The Spanish Steps, (46 rooms) description: This spectacular converted chapel is now home to the Hotel Art by the Spanish Steps. A daringly modern which takes its name from its artistic décor and its fantastic location.
This contemporary hotel effortlessly combines the old with the new. It is set in the heart of Rome’s historic centre, just a few steps from the famous Piazza di Spagna. The hotel’s design however, offers something different from the ordinary, traditional hotels which are common in the area. The trendy materials, chic fabrics and bright colours really make this hotel stand out.
The Hotel Art by the Spanish Steps features an intimate bar, courtyard and tranquil lounge area where you can relax after a day of sightseeing. You have many of Rome’s most famous monuments within walking distance including the Trevi fountain and Piazza Navona.

ROOM INFORMATION Color is the other keynote of this hotel. The corridors of the four floors housing the 46 rooms and suites are picked out respectively in blue, orange, yellow and green with radiant light at the guests’ entrance. Minimalist milky ways stretch out along the sides of the corridors illuminated with verses by poets like García Lorca and Octavio Paz.
The hi-tech furnishings and bright colors stop on the threshold of each room to make way for wood and leather. The floors are parquet and the headboards a hand-stitched patchwork of Florentine leather. The rooms are equipped with the most sophisticated facilities including a cordless keyboard for web surfing and satellite television.
HOTEL FACILITIES Restaurant, Room Service, Bar, 24-Hour Front Desk, Sauna, Newspapers, Non-Smoking Rooms, Laundry, Rooms/Facilities for Disabled Guests, Internet Services, Elevator, Fax/Photocopying, Hammam, Allergy-Free Room Available, Breakfast Buffet, Airconditioning
FOOD AND BEVERAGE The hall also accommodates the tables of the Crystal Bar, a small but efficiently organized bar-restaurant. Facing this, two large eggs of white resin rise from the ancient floor of polychromatic marble to house the reception desk and the other office. A lounge decorated with works of contemporary art and a small courtyard with bar are located on the same floor.
