ROOM INFORMATION Some of the hotel rooms are located directly in the medieval village of Ostia Antica, with a marvellous view of the old castle of Giulio II della Rovere and only 2 minutes away from the famous excavation sites. The other hotel rooms are located in the country estate, just 2 minutes away from the medieval village.
The 9 spacious rooms in the Medieval village are highly comfortable and characterized by an unmistakable style: antique and refined furniture, fine chandeliers from Murano and original Persian carpets. During your stay you can enjoy the stately elegance of these rooms that in the past were inhabited by such famous personalities as King Charles III of Borbone, Baldassarre Peruzzi, Pablo Picasso and Chagall.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE Rodrigo de Vivar – Resorts and Country proposes typical Roman dinners that are organized, upon request, in the small and romantic agri-tourism restaurant in the country. The restaurant is furnished in an elegant and simple way and offers room for up to 20 people.
The charming Chef Adele serves delicious typically Roman dishes with fresh home-made ingredients (such as fresh vegetables from the resort's own cultivation and home-made pasta) matched with the tasty wine of Prince Aldobrandini’s property. The dishes served vary according to the season and the chef’s creative inspirations.
There are 2 kinds of fixed menus, both of which are charged at an additional cost:
- The complete menu, which consists of: Rodrigo de Vivar’s appetizers; a first and second course; ice cream; a local dessert; seasonal fresh fruit; coffee; and bitters or Limoncello. Water, biological Aldobrandini white wine or Red Chianti are also included in the price.
- The light menu is composed of: country appetizers; a first course and second course; seasonal fresh fruit; coffee; and bitters or Limoncello. Water and house wine are included in the price.
If you would like to have an unforgettable dinner, please indicate in your hotel room reservation the menu you prefer and the day and time (from 20:00 to 22:00) you would like to have dinner at. Should you arrive without a car, the resort will be pleased to take you to the restaurant and pick you up again after dinner.
